Exploration Geologist (8691)
Exploration Manager needed for a direct hire opportunity in Houston, Texas. The ideal match for this position will have a Bachelorís degree in Geology or Geophysics (masterís preferred) and 15 to 25 years of oil and gas industry experience working in the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Responsibilities include managing and leading a team of experienced petro professionals (Geology, Geophysics, reservoir engineering and land professionals), overseeing day to day operations of an active exploration team, review seismic interpretations, volumetric and risk analyses, prioritize team work plans, generate and follow budgeting, make recommendations and presentations to senior management for funding. Understand and review commercial contract terms and make recommendations for new business negotiations, lead and review economic evaluations of prospects and opportunities, and actively manage an exploration portfolio. Geologist (8708)
Geologist needed for a direct hire opportunity in Houston, Texas with an E&P company. The successful candidate will have a bachelorís degree in geoscience (masterís degree in geoscience preferred), 5-10 years as a geologist with recent experience in the Eagle Ford. Candidate must have been part of an acquisition and/or active development team within the past 3 years. Petrophysicist (8603)
Chemist needed for a direct hire opportunity in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will have a Masterís or PhD in chemistry, petro chemistry, geochemistry, or surface chemistry. Candidate must be competent and experienced in petro-chemistry and surface chemistry. Other qualifications include experience in EOR preferably as applied to tight rocks (including unconventional mudstones), good analytical skills, and must have an experimental background. Development Geoscience Technician needed for a contract opportunity in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience in the oil and gas industry in a technician role, a bachelorís degree in geology or geophysics, and working knowledge of Petrel and the integrated reservoir characterization process. Responsibilities include providing support to an integrated team of development geologist and geophysicists, collecting and organizing geologic and geophysical reservoir information, performing QC on wells, logs, seismic, and other forms of subsurface data, designing databases and associated Petrel projects for raw data, interpretations, and final products, performing basic tasks in Petrel, including becoming proficient in workflow generation and application, and generating documenting output (maps, cross-sections, spreadsheets, etc.) Apply Now
