Exploration Geologist (8691)
Exploration Manager needed for a direct hire opportunity in Houston, Texas. The ideal match for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics (master’s preferred) and 15 to 25 years of oil and gas industry experience working in the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Responsibilities include managing and leading a team of experienced petro professionals (Geology, Geophysics, reservoir engineering and land professionals), overseeing day to day operations of an active exploration team, review seismic interpretations, volumetric and risk analyses, prioritize team work plans, generate and follow budgeting, make recommendations and presentations to senior management for funding. Understand and review commercial contract terms and make recommendations for new business negotiations, lead and review economic evaluations of prospects and opportunities, and actively manage an exploration portfolio. Chemist needed for a direct hire opportunity in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will have a Master’s or PhD in chemistry, petro chemistry, geochemistry, or surface chemistry. Candidate must be competent and experienced in petro-chemistry and surface chemistry.
