Exploration Geologist (8691)
Exploration Manager needed for a direct hire opportunity in Houston, Texas. The ideal match for this position will have a Bachelorís degree in Geology or Geophysics (masterís preferred) and 15 to 25 years of oil and gas industry experience working in the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Responsibilities include managing and leading a team of experienced petro professionals (Geology, Geophysics, reservoir engineering and land professionals), overseeing day to day operations of an active exploration team, review seismic interpretations, volumetric and risk analyses, prioritize team work plans, generate and follow budgeting, make recommendations and presentations to senior management for funding. Geologist needed for a direct hire opportunity in Houston, Texas with an E&P company. The successful candidate will have a bachelorís degree in geoscience (masterís degree in geoscience preferred), 5-10 years as a geologist with recent experience in the Eagle Ford. The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience in the oil and gas industry in a technician role, a bachelorís degree in geology or geophysics, and working knowledge of Petrel and the integrated reservoir characterization process.
