Senior geoscientist with 10 plus years of experience in unconventional assets in Eagle Ford, east Texas, and north Louisiana needed for a consulting opportunity with a non-operator. The successful candidate will own the related G&G software to conduct the required work duties, have a relevant master's degree in geology, geophysics, geoscience or a related subject and a minimum of 15 years of experience with asset evaluation and asset optimization. Responsibilities include performing G&G evaluations for new upstream opportunities, including new asset evaluations, operators' performance evaluations and existing asset development, providing G&G support, technical advice and guidance, analyzing and interpreting G&G information from survey data, drilling data, mud logs, well logs, and coring data provided by the operator, preparation of geological maps, cross-sectional diagrams, charts, and reports using results of D&C operation, laboratory research and technical database. The right candidate will work closely with the company's technical team and government organizations to interpret seismic data, perform well correlation, build reservoir models, establish type curve areas, and visualize reservoir simulation results using appropriate software such as Petrel.
